My Journey

I’m an Aussie-Italian girl, residing in Melbourne with my husband and two dogs. Food has always held a special place in my heart. I fondly remember Saturday afternoons spent baking with my mum or making the early morning road trips to my Nonna’s house, walking into her white weatherboard home where the aroma of fresh soup on the stove and pizza in the oven welcomed us. My Nonna’s famous roast potatoes and her delicious Italian desserts created unforgettable family moments around the dinner table. Food has a beautiful power to nurture connections and build community.

For me, the kitchen is more than a place to cook; it’s a creative space where I develop nourishing meals from wholesome ingredients. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or a kitchen novice, My Simple Plate offers simple, wholesome, and nutritious recipes designed for everyday delight and the joy of gathering. I believe in the beauty of natural ingredients and the richness of in-season produce. My hope is that the recipes I share find a place on your kitchen table, bringing as much joy to your home as they do to mine.

Holistic Wellness

My path into nutrition wasn’t linear; it was born out of necessity. A diagnosis in 2017—Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)—became the catalyst for my holistic wellness journey. Along the way, I uncovered food intolerances, gut health issues, and trauma, turning each discovery into an opportunity for growth. Guided by dedicated health practitioners, I found the path to a nourished life, igniting my passion for nutrition, holistic wellness, and mindfulness.

I started My Simple Plate to share a lifestyle centered on simplicity, mindfulness, nourishment, and wellness. My mission is clear: to guide you on a journey of lasting wellness — one simple plate at a time.
